DATA PRIVACY STATEMENT – V1.0

of Rei development GmbH, after referred to as Reidev.

Data protection

Data protection by Reidev. Personal data of the controller or its relevant employees are processed by Reidev for the purpose of performing the contract based on the controller's voluntary consent (eg in case of special categories of personal data), the existing legal relationship and legal provisions.

There is no obligation to give that consent (eg in case of special categories of personal data) and to conclude the contract. However, as a consequence of a failure to give that consent or to conclude the contract, the order cannot be accepted.

Further processing. For the purpose of performing the contract, Reidev will further process data for direct marketing in forms not requiring consent, such as addressed advertising materials sent by post, on the basis of an agreement to be concluded.

Personal data are further processed for the purpose of direct marketing in forms for which a consent is necessary, such as advertisements sent by email or the placing of personal ads only on the basis of the Controller's additional voluntary consent. The controller is not obliged to give that consent. If that consent is not given, the controller would simply not receive any form of advertising for which its consent is necessary.

transfer. All data are subject to the agreed or legal obligation of confidentiality and the protection of personal data. Except for the transfer of data to typical commercial recipients such as banks, tax advisers, lawyers, mail-handling services providers etc., the controller's data are transferred only on the basis of legal commissions and in agreement with the controller.

Worldwide processing. The controller consents to the worldwide processing of its data, in particular to allow Reidev remote access to carry out processing operations in relation to orders, for example in cases of emergency while Reidev travels on business.

Storage period The controller's data will be stored for a maximum period of thirty years after completion of the orders for the purpose of documentation and to meet legal obligations.

Right of withdrawal. The controller may withdraw its consent at any time. If consent was given in writing, the right of withdrawal must also be exercised in writing; a consent to receipt of advertising by email may be withdrawn also by clicking the unsubscribe link. In this case, we will cease all processing operations, unless there is any other legal basis. The exercise of the right of withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of data processed until that right was exercised.

Right to object. The controller may object to the processing of its personal data for the purpose of direct mail. In this case, we will no longer process your personal data for the purpose of direct mail.

Rights of data subjects. The controller and its relevant employees have the right to information, to rectification and erasure of their personal data, the right to restrict processing, the right to data portability and the right to file a complaint with the data protection authority. The contact details of the Austrian data protection authority are: Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40-42, 1030 Vienna, Phone: +43 1 531 152 - 0, E-Mail: dsb@dsb.gv.at.

The data collected in this way is in turn used by Google to provide us with an analysis of visits to our website and usage activities there. This data can also be used to provide other services related to the use of our website and the use of the Internet.

a so-called deactivation add-on along with further information about this. This add-on can be installed with common Internet browsers and offers you further control over the data that Google collects when you visit our website. The add-on tells Google Analytics' JavaScript (ga.js) that information about visits to our website should not be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, this does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or to other web analysis services. You can of course also find out whether and which other web analysis services we use in this data protection declaration.

Facebook privacy policy

We use selected tools from Facebook on our website. Facebook is a social media network owned by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland. These tools enable us to offer you and people who are interested in our products and services the best possible offer. Below we provide an overview of the various Facebook tools, what data is sent to Facebook and how you can delete this data.

What are Facebook tools?

In addition to many other products, Facebook also offers the so-called “Facebook Business Tools”. This is the official name of Facebook. Since the term is hardly known, we have decided to just call them Facebook tools. These include, among others:

  • Facebook pixel
  • social plug-ins (such as the “Like” or “Share” button)
  • Facebook login
  • Account kit
  • APIs (programming interface)
  • SDKs (collection of programming tools)
  • Platform integrations
  • Plugins
  • Codes
  • Specifications
  • Documentations
  • Technologies and services

Through these tools, Facebook expands services and has the opportunity to obtain information about user activities outside of Facebook.

Why do we use Facebook tools on our website?

We only want to show our services and products to people who are really interested in them. With the help of advertisements (Facebook Ads) we can reach exactly these people. However, in order to show users appropriate advertising, Facebook needs information about people's wishes and needs. The company is provided with information about user behavior (and contact details) on our website. This means that Facebook collects better user data and can show interested people the appropriate advertising about our products or services. The tools thus enable tailor-made advertising campaigns on Facebook.

Facebook calls data about your behavior on our website “event data”. These are also used for measurement and analysis services. This allows Facebook to create “campaign reports” on our behalf about the impact of our advertising campaigns. We also use analyzes to gain a better insight into how you use our services, website or products. This allows us to use some of these tools to optimize your user experience on our website. For example, you can use the social plug-ins to share content on our site directly on Facebook.

What data are stored by Facebook tools?

By using individual Facebook tools, personal data (customer data) can be sent to Facebook. Depending on the tools used, customer data such as name, address, telephone number and IP address may be sent.

Facebook uses this information to compare the data with the data it has about you (if you are a Facebook member). Before customer data is transmitted to Facebook, so-called “hashing” takes place. This means that a data set of any size is transformed into a character string. This also serves to encrypt data.

In addition to the contact details, “event data” is also transmitted. “Event data” means the information that we receive about you on our website. For example, which subpages you visit or which products you buy from us. Facebook does not share the information it receives with third parties (such as advertisers) unless the company has explicit permission or is legally required to do so. “Event data” can also be linked to contact details. This allows Facebook to offer better personalized advertising. After the matching process already mentioned, Facebook deletes the contact data again.

In order to deliver advertisements in an optimized manner, Facebook only uses the event data if it has been combined with other data (which was collected by Facebook in other ways). Facebook also uses this event data for security, protection, development and research purposes. Much of this data is transferred to Facebook via cookies. Cookies are small text files that are used to store data or information in browsers. Depending on the tools used and whether you are a Facebook member, different numbers of cookies are created in your browser. In the descriptions of the individual Facebook tools we go into more detail about individual Facebook cookies. You can also find out general information about the use of Facebook cookies at https://www.facebook.com/policies/cookies.

How long and where is the data stored?

Basically, Facebook stores data until it is no longer needed for its own services and Facebook products. Facebook has servers around the world where its data is stored. However, customer data will be deleted within 48 hours after it has been compared with your own user data.

How can I delete my data or prevent data storage?

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to information, correction, portability and deletion of your data.

The data will only be completely deleted if you completely delete your Facebook account. Here's how deleting your Facebook account works:

1) On the right side of Facebook, click Settings.

2) Then click on “Your Facebook information” in the left column.

3) Now click “Deactivation and deletion”.

4) Now select “Delete Account” and then click “Next and Delete Account”

5) Now enter your password, click “Continue” and then click “Delete Account”

The data that Facebook receives via our site is stored, among other things, via cookies (e.g. social plugins). You can deactivate, delete or manage individual or all cookies in your browser. Depending on which browser you use, this works in different ways. The following instructions show how to manage cookies in your browser:

Chrome: Delete, enable and manage cookies in Chrome

Safari: Manage cookies and site data with Safari

Firefox: Delete cookies to remove data that websites have placed on your computer

Internet Explorer: Deleting and managing cookies

Microsoft Edge: Deleting and managing cookies

If you generally do not want cookies, you can set your browser so that it always informs you when a cookie is to be set. This means you can decide for each individual cookie whether you allow it or not.

Facebook is an active participant in the EU-US Privacy Shield Framework, which regulates the correct and secure transfer of personal data. You can find more information about this at https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC. We hope we have given you the most important information about the use and data processing of Facebook tools. If you want to learn more about how Facebook uses your data, we recommend reading the data policy on https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/update.
